Due mostly to ingrained selective schooling, most people harbor the illusion that the Bible depicts King Solomon as an admirable pillar of probity and wisdom. True, the Bible chronicler often presents this very picture, yet at the same time offers an altogether opposite impression of King Solomon and his tyrannical reign in Ancient Israel.
